Hey, I'm Shana

I'm a thirty year old teacher turned photographer, wife, mama and creative. I found my "lobster" when I was 19 (I can pretty much guarantee this won’t be the last Friends reference). He was my first boyfriend, my first kiss. Must’ve been pretty damn good because we’ve been married for 8 years now in which time we created two small humans. Maternity leave gave me the space to find my passion and my other baby, this business.

I was ten when I got my hands on my first camera and haven’t put one down since. Though I’m a long way from taking underwater selfies with my bffs or using the in-camera sepia tone edit, I’m still hooked on that money-shot high.

For me, the magic is in the moments someone laughs and their nose scrunches up a little or wipes away a happy tear or belts out the lyrics to “Mr. Brightside” so hard their neck veins poke out a little or gets roped onto the dance floor by their partner’s invisible lasso while playing shy but they know they’re about to “drop it like it’s hot”. I’m not about the fake stuff, I’m a down to earth gal. Give me all the genuine goodness, raw emotions and honest connections... my photos will give you the real you.
